NNLM Region 3 Student Development Award

The goal of this program is to introduce the future LIS workforce to the health sciences, trusted National Library of Medicine (NLM) resources, and develop their professional skills. With coaching from a talented NNLM professional, each awardee will deliver a 15-minute presentation (approximate) on an NLM resource or NNLM priority during the Annual Meeting of the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association (SCC/MLA) October 25-29, 2024 in Dallas, TX. Awardees may have additional presentation opportunities if applicable.

Region 4 Technology Improvement Projects Award Year 5 (2025-2026)

The purpose of the Region 4 Technology Improvement Projects Award Year 4 (2024-2025)  funding is to support short-term projects that involve program improvement concepts, including technology improvements projects. Applications should demonstrate how it will attempt to enhance the applicant’s communities’ access to health information resources designed to improve health literacy skills and how it will support specific Region 4 Core Aims, the NNLM mission, and the NLM 2017-2027 Strategic Plan.
