Our team of guest speakers - with clinical, medical library, research and education expertise - will present the results of their work identifying the availability and suitability of online health information for women with Mullerian anomalies (congenital anomalies of the uterus prevalent in approximately 7% of the female population). This will include an overview of the condition, findings from an extensive audit of online information, and an analysis of the patient suitability of that information. The team will also describe health information insights revealed throughout their process that, while specific to this particular health condition, are likely applicable to a range of other patient populations with less commonly diagnosed conditions.
