Region Six of the Network of the National Library of Medicine invites public library staff Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota to join us for a townhall. The purpose of the townhalls is to establish and deepen connection with public library workers in Region 6. The sessions will introduce or refresh knowledge of NNLM services available and allow participants to provide feedback, ask questions and suggest new ways of engagement.

Registrants will be able to submit anonymous questions, feedback, and suggestions prior to the session.  During the session there will be time for attendees to ask questions, offer feedback and suggestion, and brainstorm on improving outreach, engagement, training, and funding.

Objectives:
  • Provide an overview of what NNLM R6 can do for library workers in the region
  • Answer questions from library workers about NNLM and NLM
  • Receive feedback on the current methods of outreach, engagement, and training
  • Receive suggestions for new methods of outreach engagement, and training
