This is part two of a series, continued from the From Problem to Prevention: Evidence-Based Public Health webinar on Jan 30, 2024

In authentic community-engaged research, continuous engagement in does not end when a grant ends. In this webinar, PATIENTS Professors will share how they have helped their academic research partners improve engagement and provide resources to support patient advocacy, grant writing, and community engagement workshops. After attending this session, participants will be able to challenge narratives about how different communities participate in research, and develop and advance individual and institutional partnerships through pre-engagement, continuous engagement, and sustainable engagement strategies beyond the conclusion of the research projects.

Speakers:

Joe Howarth, PATIENTS Program

Tanisha Armstrong, PATIENTS Professor

Jennie Flanagan, PATIENTS Professor

Brian Gutierrez, PATIENTS Professor
