Need access to trusted journals, e-books, and databases to support your work?
Join us to learn how to effectively use the Public Health Digital Library (PHDL) to search and access full-text journal articles and other helpful resources to support evidence-based public health practice.
The PHDL is a program of the National Public Health Coordination office funded by the Network of the National Library of Medicine. As a member, your organization has access to the program!
This webinar will get you acquainted with using PubMed to search the journal collection, introduce you to additional library resources available within the collection, and briefly describe the process for accessing materials not available in the PHDL from your partner library. You will also see demonstrated some tools for keeping current in your field by creating saved searches or alerts.
You will need a single sign-on account to access the PHDL from the central webpage and a My NCBI account is recommended so you can save your work in PubMed. If you have not already done so, please register for an NCBI account and create your single sign-on account to the PHDL prior to the course.
This session focuses on the access and use of the Public Health Digital Library (PHDL) for PHDL program members.
