In this webinar, Lauren Hays will share about the current state of generative AI. Then, she will lead a discussion about how this technology is impacting health sciences libraries and how it may impact health sciences libraries in the future.The webinar will end with information on how to effectively incorporate generative AI and address challenges it creates. 

The session will be interactive and practical. Attendees are encouraged to bring their ideas and questions. 

Speaker:

Lauren Hays Ph.D. is an associate professor of instructional technology at the University of Central Missouri where she teaches classes in educational technology and library science. Previously, she worked as an instruction librarian. Her professional interests include digital literacy and information literacy.
