For newer librarians, your cover letter might be your first business letter. But it's also your chance to impress a potential employer. Communication skills are crucial for any job application, and your documents – including your résumé, cover letter, and references – showcase those skills. This workshop will cover what to include in a strong cover letter, what to avoid, how to track your experiences for your résumé, and how to curate your job references.
