Author description

Andie Dominick has been an editorial writer at The Des Moines Register since 2001. In 2018, she won the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing. As an Iowa native, she earned a bachelor of arts degree in English and a master of arts degree in creative writing from Iowa State University. Before publication, Needles: A Memoir was submitted in fulfillment of her graduate thesis.
