Mobile Computer Lab at the East Haven Public Library

This project is to create a Mobile Computer Lab at Hagaman Library, with 10 public laptops and 2 staff laptops for program use. Providing access to these computers will allow the library to meet the needs of the community in new ways, offering basic computer classes on a number of topics and in a variety of spaces, both within our library building and at other locations throughout our community. This will greatly improve individuals’ access to basic computer training and, as a direct result, improve their ability to access health information in the future. This works toward the mission of NNLM, to improve public health by improving individuals' access to information, enabling them to make more informed decisions about their health, and we are excited about the opportunity to work with NNLM to better meet the health needs of our community.
