The purpose of the Emerging Leader Award is to motivate and prepare a librarian for a position of leadership in an academic health sciences library. With oversight from the NNLM Region 3 Directors’ Advisory Board, the awarded librarian is paired with a director who will serve as their mentor. Montie' Dobbins will visit UNTHSC Lewis Library, attend a SCAMEL event and be mentored by Emily Glenn UNMC.
