The Electronic Resources and Libraries (ER&L) annual conference in Austin, Texas provides librarians in resource management and reference opportunities to learn new and/or improved practices for services and methods to improve user access to biomedical resources and scholarly communication efforts. The information sessions of ER&L offer a broad selection of topics relating to content management that aligns with improving access to biomedical information for health professionals and consumers, the goal of NNLM. Conference participants gain knowledge in resource management areas such as discovery, access, data curation, licensing and open access publishing. Accessibility and discovery are central to electronic resources, and advances in technology allow information professionals to navigate those in the best way possible. That is the goal of the ER&L conference and participation allows us to better assist our community with achieving health information literacy
