30 people were awarded professional development funds to cover travel expenses to attend the Summit. 

The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) was pleased to host a week-long, in-person event for science educators across the U.S. to come, interact and collaborate with each other in teams in a codeathon-style curriculathon to develop exciting curricular packages (including learning objectives, course materials, and assessments) that they can use in their classrooms/courses.
