Know Your Flow Ohio – Menstrual and Menopausal Health in Ohio Libraries

The State Library of Ohio requests funding to support menstrual and menopausal health in libraries across the state. By providing the funds necessary for libraries to acquire menstrual products and distribute health information, we will continue to further the work of combating period poverty in Ohio. Using the resource material provided by Aunt Flow via the KnowYourFlow.Info initiative, developed by Aunt Flow with funding from the Network of the National Libraries of Medicine under Cooperative Agreement UG4LM013719-3, Ohio libraries will be able to make print and digital educational materials available to patrons, along with sanitary products. Awardees will also be encouraged to develop health programming with a focus on menstrual hygiene and/or menopausal health information. Libraries will be encouraged to work with local public health districts, universities, clinics and other health care providers and organizations to host presentations, panels or programs at their library.
