The iConference is an annual gathering of scholars and researchers worldwide who share a common concern about critical information issues in contemporary society. The iConference 2025 seeks to explore the effects of algorithmic processes—including generative AI, machine learning, data analytics, and other technologies—on how information is collected, stored, retrieved, utilized, and shared. The conference focuses on topics including disinformation & misinformation, health informatics, information & digital literacies, information retrieval, bibliometrics & metadata, libraries & users, and open access & open science.
