The program is held at multiple universities over a two-day period and is sponsored by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Carnegie Mellon University Libraries. Overall, the Primer hopes that participants will walk away with a foundation to participate in Open Science initiatives and continue to engage in the professional network established during the training session.
