We invite you to a webinar presentation to learn more about the All of Us Researcher Workbench, a cloud-based research platform that the All of Us Research Program has created, where individuals can apply for access to the data, and once approved as Authorized Data Users, create project-specific Workspaces in which to access and analyze the data.
The webinar will cover the basics of the All of Us Research Program, the data available, how you can expand access to your campus community, and the available training resources. Why your library should be interested in facilitating campus access to the All of Us Researcher Workbench:
- Data-driven research continues to be a priority for academic institutions as it contributes to providing information about diseases, risk factors, and public health, and can increase academic publication rates and grant awards.
- The library is well-situated to utilize training materials to assist your campus community in using the R and Python programming languages that are prominent in data science and needed to use the All of Us Researcher Workbench
- The All of Us Research Program dataset offer access to a diverse, longitudinal dataset that can be used by student and faculty who do not have access to other datasets. The NIH has worked with research communities and community members to ensure a robust research protocol that respects participants and the needs of the research community.
- This webinar will be hosted by All of Us Data and Research Center and presented by Ashley Green, MLIS, the lead Outreach Coordinator and a senior research analyst.
