Bennie Finch (she/her) is an Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine in Region 7. Her office is located at the UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA. Bennie enjoys all libraries, but her specific focus is public libraries and consumer health information.

Delivering Health Information Resources Across Languages and Cultures | This 4-hour CE class offered in Moodle is designed to assist librarians and others who work with diverse populations in locating health information. The resources presented are selected for their emphasis on providing culturally relevant information in the preferred language of the population. Background information on refugees and immigrants in the U.S. and their unique health issues will be presented. |

Wikipedia + Libraries: NNLM (January 27 - February 21, 2025) | Gain insight into the value of Wikipedia as a viable reference and build the skills and knowledge needed to evaluate articles, with a specific focus on health and medical topics in a self-paced, online class over four weeks. Expect to spend about 2 hours a week exploring through discussion forums, readings, tutorials, and learn about the #CiteNLM Wikipedia edit-a-thon and the free resources, programming and training that NNLM offers to libraries.
