The National Center for Data Services (NCDS) coordinates with other NNLM Regions, Offices, and Centers to provide training and resources to increase data science capacity among information professionals, in alignment with the NLM strategic plan. Join this National Kickoff Meeting to meet the NCDS staff, learn about upcoming programming, and discuss your training needs.

Objectives:
  • Introduce attendees to NCDS staff
  • Explain why and how NCDS was formed
  • Review mission and goals of the NCDS
  • Review how to contact/follow the NCDS and subscribe to NCDS newsletter and blog
  • Provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss training needs
