Collection Equity Award Y3 - Southern Nevada Health District

We plan to use this award to purchase online resources that will be highlighted during “Health District After Dark” events and during community outreach opportunities through our Health Equity team. The funds will enable SNHD to expand our online resource offerings to include expanded items that represent diverse, underrepresented, and marginalized voices related to public health information. They will be made available to the public through our primary website (southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/) and through a collaborative site tied into the Southern Nevada Healthy People 2030 efforts, which already includes data and resources (healthysouthernnevada.org). Health District After Dark is SNHD’s quarterly public health forum open to the public and focused on emerging and challenging public health topics. The funds would enable the purchase of a wide variety of diverse materials that will help further our goals for health literacy and health equity.
