Margot Malachowski, MLS, AHIP

Education and Outreach Coordinator, Region 7

Margot Malachowski (she/her) is an Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine in Region 7. Her office is located at the UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA. She started working with the Network in February 2017. Margot worked as the Community Outreach Librarian for Baystate Health in Springfield, MA from 2008-2016. Baystate Health is an integrated health care system that includes a Level 1 Trauma Center, community hospitals, medical practices and outpatient programs. From 1996-2008, she worked in public libraries in Amherst, MA, Carrboro, NC and Durham, NC. Margot teaches classes on Rural Health Resources, LGBTQIA+ Wellness, Grant Proposal Writing, and ClinicalTrials.gov. She is the DOCLINE Coordinator for Region 7.
