Julie received a Master of Library and Information Science degree from UCLA.
She has worked at a broad range of repositories, including the archives at 20th Century Fox, Zion National Park, and the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives in West Hollywood.
She has a background in education and program development, including development of educational texts, conferences, and training in outdoor, food, and environmental education; working as an educator at a living history museum; managing a business education institute for artists; and teaching undergraduates in the UCLA Department of History.
