Responsibilities:
  • The Community Engagement Librarian is the Point of Contact for the All of Us Research Program in collaboration with the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM), the National Library of Medicine (NLM), and other program partners
  • Establish a network of public libraries and other diverse partners in target locations that are dedicated to improving community health
  • Develop, pilot, model, and evaluate All of Us community engagement and health education activities, including citizen science projects and consumer health programs in public libraries
  • Improve community health literacy through training about consumer health services and resources from NLM and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), including MedlinePlus, ClinicalTrials.gov, and other authoritative sources
