Course: Nursing on the Net: Free Resources

Info: Is your institution looking for freely accessible nursing content on the Internet? This hands-on, face-to-face workshop is designed for health sciences librarians responsible for information services to the Nursing and Allied Health students as well as nurses, other health professionals and faculty having nursing education, research or clinical responsibilities. The focus is on free, credible and current Internet resources. It is a global view of nursing resources organized by topics which include Evidence Base Nursing Practice Issues, Evidence Base Nursing Clinical Guidelines, Nursing Informatics, Nursing – Emergency Preparedness, Nursing Assessment and information for Nursing Students. It is assessed for 2 or 3MLA Continuing Credits. Registration will be required by the host location.
