Time: 12-1 pm
Presenter: Heather Moberly, MSLS, AHIP
Heather Moberly is Professor and Coordinator of Veterinary Services at Texas A&M University.
April’s Beyond the SEA will focus on resources where the “consumer” is an animal and the information seeker is generally their owner. Ms. Moberly will provide a brief overview to veterinary education and specialties. Focusing on companion animals (family animals such as cats and dogs), the majority of the webinar will present and discuss authoritative resources covering topics such as pet care, pets and emergencies/disasters, zoonoses (diseases you can catch from animals), and toxic foods and plants. Educational resources, particularly those K-12 appropriate and multilingual resources will be presented when possible.
