CES 2012 Top Picks from PC World
The annual International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) took place earlier this month in Las Vegas. The annual technology trade show allows electronics vendors to demonstrate their latest products.
CES has been an annual event with a history going back to the late 1960s. Some of the biggest names in technology showcase new and innovative products at the event. Smaller companies are also on hand and provide demonstrations of other new products that will be on the market soon.
This year PC World Magazine created a slide show with some of their top picks from the show. One of my favorites is the Logitech Cube a tiny mouse device that can also work as a pointer.
I also enjoyed learning about Gaze technology from Tobii that can track eye movement allowing you to interact with computer applications using only your eyes!
New tablet devices, laptops and gaming options were also introduced at CES. A wide variety of new technologies are introduced each year and we may expect to see some of them in libraries or homes soon.
