NN/LM SCR National Medical Librarians Month Projects

In honor of National Medical Librarians month, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) is highlighting six outreach projects funded by the NN/LM SCR:

  1. A Place at the Table: The Librarian’s Role in Evidence Based Health Care (Institution: University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Robert M. Bird Health Sciences Library, Project Director: Joy Summers-Ables)
  2. The Vietnamese Civic Center – Consumer Health Collaborative (Institution: Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library, Project Director: Adela Justice)
  3. Access to Electronic Consumer Health Information: Consumer Health Information Project (Institution: The Center for Development and Disability, University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Project Director: Stormy Davis Costanza)
  4. WISER Responders II (Institution: Southeastern Louisiana Area Health Education Center Library at Slidell Memorial Hospital, Project Director: Helen Caruso)
  5. Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine: The Continuum of Chronic Medical Illness Care (Institution: St. Edward Mercy Medical Center Library, Project Director: Pat Morris)
  6. Connecting Azalea Estates Assisted Living and Retirement Community to Electronic Consumer Health Information (Institution: Azalea Estates, Project Director: Lorrie Nunley)
