Emerging Technologies Coordinator

Gibson D. Lewis Library has recently been designated to serve as a Regional Medical Library for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine South Central Region (NN/LM SCR). This will allow us to coordinate outreach services throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

We invite applications for an Emerging Technologies Coordinator. We seek a creative and enthusiastic librarian to join our team. This coordinator will develop educational programming and identify emerging technologies that assist regional stakeholders in providing services to their communities.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing service and developing partnerships with key stakeholders. Individuals with public library, academic library, outreach programming, technology instruction, or other relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Summer graduates are welcome to apply.

Salary range: $53,000 – $60,000

Positions are full time, benefits-eligible. Coordinator positions require a willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
