Operation Health Outreach

The Operation Health Outreach is intended to improve access to health information to the major non-English speaking minority groups, the Hispanic population, in the City of Glendale by means of the provision of health information in Spanish, its identified native language. The goals are: to improve access to health information to Spanish-speaking minorities in Glendale; increase awareness of health issues among Glendale Hispanics; secure Hispanic community input in library service and facilitate cooperation among health information and service providers to Hispanics in Glendale.
