Educating Healthcare Professionals and the Sighted Community of Worcester County on the Health Disparities among VIPs 2020-2021

This project will engage medical professionals in various specialties, improving their health literacy and reducing health disparity for individuals who are blind or who suffer with low vision (VIPs). Current medical practice protocols and patient interactions are many times lacking in correct etiquette for the individuals in this population group.
