Health Reach

This resource has a collection of consumer health information in various languages. Additionally, it also includes culturally and linguistically appropriate information. Your organization can submit information for review to be included in this resource for others to access.

Genetics Home Reference

Consumer health information about genetic conditions and the genes responsible for those conditions. The resource Includes descriptions of the symptoms, diagnostic process, and treatment options.

PubMed Health

PubMed Health provides information for consumers and clinicians on prevention and treatment of diseases and conditions. PubMed Health specializes in reviews of clinical effectiveness research, with easy-to-read summaries for consumers as well as full technical reports. Learn the basics of clinical effectiveness research, understanding research results, and how to read health news.

American Indian and Alaska Native Health

The web site is designed to bring together health and medical resources focused on the American Indian population, including policies, consumer health information, and research. Health on this web site is used in its broadest sense, and includes physical, mental, social / cultural, and environmental aspects.

Pillbox

This resource is primarily to be used as a pill identifier that combines high-resolution images of tablets and capsules with appearance information to enable users to visually search for and identify an unknown solid dosage pharmaceutical.

Drug Information Portal

National Center for Complementary and Integrative Medicine

This NIH center provides information for both consumers and professionals. On the homepage information regarding health topics, herbs, and other useful information for consumers regarding complementary and alternative treatments from a quality website.
Nearly all of the National Institutes of Health provide a dedicated web page to consumer health information.

MedlinePlus Magazine

Quarterly issues cover a range of health related topics including research, resources, celebrity features. Available online and print, in Spanish and English, can order in bulk. 

Household Products Database

This database llinks over 16,000 consumer brands to health effects from Safety Data Sheets (formaly Material Safety Data Sheets), provided by manufacturers and allows scientists and consumers to research products based on chemical ingredients.
