Medical Library Pilot Project: Eagle-I Integration

The goal of the project is to connect the services of the Arnold Library?s Shared Resources website database with Eagle-I, a national directory of shared biomedical services and resources hosted by Harvard University. Specifically, an open source API framework will be developed to sync Arnold Library?s Drupal system into the national Eagle-I database and directory. The Librarians, who have designed, built and manage the Shared Resources website, will be responsible for performing data integration analysis, contributing new term sets to the Eagle-I ontology, and testing the searching and browsing responses of the developed framework.
