Improved Access to Health Information for Low-income Residents

Kootenai Medical Center Library staff will research and install software for a computer kiosk at Dirne Community Health Center, which serves low income, uninsured, and underinsured populations of Kootenai and Shoshone Counties in Idaho. They will train the staff at Dirne to use the kiosk to teach health care consumers to access online health information though MedlinePlus.gov, the DeArmond Consumer Health Library, and the Community Health Web Portal.
