NIH NCCIH Issues RFI for Strategic Plan Input
The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking public input for the development of the center’s next Strategic Plan. NCCIH will use responses collected as part of the RFI to help identify research areas and topics for the Strategic Plan to guide the center’s priorities over the next 5 years (2021-2026).
NCCIH, part of the National Institutes of Health, is the Federal Government’s lead agency for scientific research on the diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not generally considered part of conventional medicine. NCCIH’s body of work over the last 20 years has yielded broadly accepted standards for rigorous, well-designed studies to explore complementary and integrative health practices that patients and health professionals can rely on to make good health decisions.
NCCIH invites researchers, clinicians, patients, policymakers, members of the public and other stakeholders to provide their feedback by June 30, 2020. View the RFI for more information about strategic objectives, requested information, additional key dates and where to send responses and questions.
