Graphic Medicine, comic books and graphic novels can tell personal stories of health and wellness. It can also give voice to the people in our communities who are impacted by the policy and programmatic decisions made by public health officials. It has become an area of interest in medical education and health outreach. Join NNLM/NER on August 7, 2019 for "Graphic Public Health: Comics for Health Literacy, Health Promotion, and Advocacy" to learn about applied comics and the aspects of the creative process of developing graphic public health.
