Medical Information in Plain Language

The University of Connecticut Health Center Library’s consumer health program: Healthnet: Connecticut Consumer Health Information Network, has published a new Health Literacy LibGuide especially for health consumers. The Guide, Medical Information in Plain Language: A Health Literacy Resource Guide, includes links to easy-to-read information about medical conditions, children’s health, senior health, dental care, research news, nutrition, medical terms, and communicating effectively with a doctor.
