New Issue/Healthnet’s consumer health newsletter
[By Judy Kronick]
The Winter 2010-2011 issue of the University of Connecticut Health Center Library’s Healthnet News is now available on the Library’s website at http://library.uchc.edu/departm/hnet/.
This issue features resources for parents and children about bullying, a description of an online toolkit about epilepsy, and a discussion of the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act which expands insurance coverage for treatment of mental illness.
There are also reviews of recently published books about mental health care, protecting your child in the digital world of texting and social media, caring for a newborn, and guiding patients to help them reduce medical care errors while hospitalized.
The newsletter is published online by Healthnet: Connecticut Consumer Health Information Network at the University of Connecticut Health Center Library.
