Data Science Supporting Biomedical Research
The eScience Program was started in order to provide various modes of learning about eScience principles, working concepts, and skills. The eScience initiative helps stimulate librarians and information professionals involved in the application of eScience practices. Professional development programs and online resources provide continuing education in science, digital curation, and library roles to foster learning and collaboration in eScience.
The National Network of Libraries of Medicine, New England Region funds projects to advance the National Library of Medicine's mission to improve access to health information.
Communities of Interest
Communities of Interest (COI) foster emerging roles for librarians in dynamic themes in the provision of health information. Members of COI share ideas, knowledge, and experiences to help each other improve their library’s services.
