One of the documents expected of a profession is a code of ethics. Members of the Medical Library Association have produced one. So if you’re in a health sciences library, we’ve sent you one. We hope that you’ll display it as one of the indicators that your library headed up by a professional. /ch

Apply for a $50 Purchase Card for your mobile device

Tuesday, March 25th, 2014

Hello NN/LM MCR Full Network members!

We have learned from past mobile device projects that the cost of apps is a major barrier to accessing and experimenting with for-fee apps that might improve work performance or efficiencies vs. the free versions of for-fee apps or just focusing on free apps.

To address this issue, the NN/LM MCR would like to offer fourteen librarians working at full Network member institutions $50 iTunes or $50 GooglePlay purchase cards in exchange for them sharing what they learned about the app.

The deadline to submit your application is April 15, 2014.

In order to apply for the $50 purchase card, applicants simply fill out the form and agree to fully participant in the project as outlined at the link below.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact John Bramble ( or Rachel Vukas (
