Optimizing Research to Benefit Public Health and Well Being

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in May convened an expert panel to discuss how the U.S. can optimize its commercial output from federally-funded research to benefit public health and well-being, create jobs and increase economic value.” The National Health, Lung, and Blood Institute co-sponsored the initiative. The recommendations of the expert panel have now been posted online:
