Educational Offerings From the GMR

General Information

GMR staff offers a variety of classes, webinars, and symposia. In-person classes are scheduled by the coordinator teaching that class and are available for library groups, associations and consortia. Classes listed below are face-to-face unless otherwise specified. Online courses are taught via the Moodle platform; for webinars, we use an Adobe Connect platform. View Training Opportunities to register for available GMR and other NN/LM online classes and webinar. For additional non-GMR educational opportunities, visit: Training and Educational Opportunities.

Continuing education (CE) credit is available through the Medical Library Association (MLA). Classes that are accepted for MLA-approved specialization programs are identified as either CHIS (Consumer Health Information Specialization Program) for health science librarians (HSL) and for others (non-HSL) or DIS (Disaster Information Specialization Program).
