The National Library of Medicine (NLM) produces a variety of web-based resources related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) initiatives for use by health and science educators. Educators are welcome to review and use the modules or lesson plans, in whole or in part, for their students’ interests, levels, and academic goals.
As the world's largest medical library and a component of the National Institutes of Health offers a number of resources relevant to STEM initiatives. The Greater Midwest Region office has hand-selected a few that may be of particular interest to instructors in K-12 and higher education institutions. This list is not all-inclusive, you can see additional NLM resources and instructor resources on our guides for public libraries and K-12 educators.
