MLA Webinar Site Sponsorships

NOTE: the upcoming webinar is the first in a series of five of the Fall 2013 MLA Webinar Series.

The GMR is offering to sponsor webinar sites. However, the GMR is only able to fund  two webinars per state for the entire Webinar Series. Please use the following Survey link to identify the events for which your institution will be requesting funding:

Upcoming Webinar: Making Your Library Promotion Pop! Practical Design Principles and Tools for the Non-Designer
Date/Time: Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m., CT (plus course work)

SHORT TURN AROUND TIME: The deadline to submit your registration and supplemental information to the GMR is NOON, Monday, September 16, 2013. Announcements will be made to all applicants on Tuesday, September 17th.

As usual, the GMR will sponsor the registration costs for up to two (2) sites per state in the 2013 Fall MLA Webinar Series. Please work with your state and local health science librarian groups to identify centralized locations. Sites will be selected based on geographical location, accessibility, and potential number of attendees. Please note that the GMR will be covering the costs for Site Registration fees only, not Individual Registration fees.

Site coordinators will receive one (1) activity point applicable to their Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) membership. An additional point is available for leading a wrap-around session.
