Put a Little Pop in that Proposal
The GMR Lending Library has just added two new items that should assist writers to put a little pop in their funding proposals. Whether working on a funding opportunity for a GMR Award [See: Current Calls for Applications (CFAs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)] or branching out for other funding opportunities, seasoned writers or first-timers might want to take a look at Proposal Planning & Writing and Models of Proposal Planning as well other titles in the GMR Lending Library. Lending Library access is provided to GMR Members free of charge.
If an in-person class is more to your liking than a tome or two, consider taking the GMR’s Grant Writing: Turning Ideas Into Dollars hands-on class. Participants are introduced to funding opportunities in the corporate, foundation and government sectors–including those offered by the GMR. This class provides an opportunity to learn basic tips and techniques for writing and organizing a funding proposal. Check the GMR Calendar to see when this and other classes are being offered in the region or contact your state coordinator for more information: http://nnlm.gov/gmr/about/staff.html
