The purpose of the Data Roadmap is to provide curated data information, tools, and resources for librarian professional development that are organized across five different levels of data expertise: data demystified, data possibilities, dig into data, up your data game, and take action with data. You can pick a place to enter the Data Roadmap based on your expertise level and the type of materials you want to engage with. Click on the tabs above to get started! The resources are organized by core skills identified for data science and open science librarians in April 2019 at the National Library of Medicine’s Office of Strategic Initiatives workshop. New resources will be regularly posted. Email your questions and recommendations for data literacy and data management resources that could be included in the Roadmap and help to build and improve the Data Roadmap.
