Healing Library Anxiety
Please join us for the April 2018 Breezing Along with the RML to learn about new approaches to better serve multicultural populations in libraries. Valerie M. Buck, of BYU’s Lee Library, will be discussing her study that analyzed new approaches to better serve multicultural populations in libraries by taking lessons from the healthcare industry for how they serve multicultural populations and, specifically, how they reduce stress for health-seeking users. Valerie will also discuss recommendations that libraries can use to train staff and plan or enhance physical space that improves aesthetics, create safety, and stimulate the brain.
