Boost Box: Applying for All of Us Funding - Health Programs for Public Libraries
Please note: This webinar is specific to funding for the Middle Atlantic Region: Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Public libraries and partners of public libraries who are interested in NNLM All of Us Funding and encouraged to attend.
The National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Middle Atlantic Region (NNLM MAR) is pleased to partner with the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program. Through this collaboration, NNLM’s Regional Medical Libraries and National Offices will focus on providing training, funding, and other engagement opportunities to support health programs and services in public libraries and access to quality health information for the general public.
This webinar will include a presentation of background information about the NNLM partnership with the All of Us Research Program, information about the NNLM All of Us Community Engagement Network, insight about what types of library projects qualify for NNLM MAR All of Us funding, and opportunities for continued involvement. Attendees will also learn about several interactive programming ideas that address how health is influenced by lifestyle, environment, and genetics. There will also be space to ask questions about the program, funding, and share additional ideas.
Attendees of this webinar will:
- Learn about replicable health program ideas that they can implement in their libraries and partners of public libraries
- Hear about support for your community’s health initiatives through the NNLM All of Us Community Engagement Network
- Information about open funding to support health programs and services for public libraries and organizations partnering with public libraries
