Lyme disease 10 times more common than previously reported

The Centers for Disease Control reported last week that the prevalence of Lyme disease in the United States is ten times higher than the number of cases reported.  In doing so, the CDC called for a “broader approach to tick reduction, involving entire communities, to combat this public health problem.”
