Latest Update on the Steroid-Meningitis Toll

Thirty-one people have now died and 424 have been sickened in the fungal meningitis outbreak linked to tainted steroid injections, U.S. health officials reported. Overall, infections have been reported in 19 states, with Michigan and Tennessee being the hardest hit.
