NN/LM Home About Us | Contact Us | Feedback | Help | Bookmark and Share Social Networking Website for Obesity and Tobacco Issues is an interactive social networking site that provides a space for Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) communities and their partners to share stories and resources and engage with the public and other communities around obesity and tobacco issues. Led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) is a locally driven initiative supporting urban, rural, and tribal communities over a two-year period to make positive and long-lasting changes that will help to reduce obesity, tobacco use, and exposure to secondhand smoke.

On, members can:

  • Follow progress being made in CPPW communities across the country
  • Learn about ways to get involved
  • Find events happening in their communities
  • Connect to others across the country who are passionate about creating healthier communities
  • Participate in discussions that inspire, motivate, and result in change
