Supervisory Technical Information Specialist (Engagement Section Head)

This position is located in the Office of Engagement and Training (OET), part of Library Operations, National Library of Medicine (NLM). In this role, you will serve as Head of the Engagement Section, where your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of engagement staff in developing and maintaining new programs and partnerships for OET in order to accomplish OET goals. You will supervise staff of Librarians and Technical Information Specialists responsible for engagement related programs; Provide expert consultation concerning engagement strategies and standards; Serve as senior technical advisor providing advice and oversight of centralized engagement operations; Lead strategic planning of OET's engagement program and Develop and manage partnership with National and International Organizations.
